I can't get enough of these red/green color schemes. :) This one was for Raster.

Opencanvas and Photoshop mix. And here's the ref: [link]
About the background: I painted a green curtain. Then I drew out a lace pattern and tiled it. The lace I drew is a modified version of a standard lace pattern that really exists. Then I used the technique in this tutorial [link] to get the repeating pattern to wrap around the contours of the curtain. After that I played around with the blending modes and contrast and colors of the pattern layer to get it to look right.

Reminds me of the song from The Mars Volta. You have an absolutly wonderful way of rendering people. The color scheme fits the dark mood of this pic really well and the details are just plain awsome.

I really like this- it has this great feeling to it, like it's sort of raw and dark, but i think the contrast (especially w/the curtain) gives it an inviting feel as well.
